This is so unlike me.. I’m happy and in the mood to write!!:D

I’ve been very busy with school lately - ORG DUTIES to be exact.   A lot of people always hear me say that I’m too busy doing this and that for my org, but believe me when I say that I love doing it. I love being part of it.   If I didn’t, I would’ve stopped ages ago.   This love started when I was in my 2nd year in college.

I, together with I.C.,  filled up forms not knowing what we were getting ourselves into.   We first had to go to an interview which I truly dreaded.  It turned out to be easy and fun. They asked me to say WOW in a creative way.  It weirded me out so I said it in a very unsure manner.  Then there was that Executive Committee team building.  I really didn’t want to go since it was way too early in the morning.  However, I.C. and I eventually agreed on attending.

Fast forward a little and I became the Assistant Secretary General and I.C. became the Secretariat Head.  We were never separated because the officers thought we worked well together.  This has taught us well and prepared us for what was coming next.  Actually, we were having second thoughts on who would run for President for the next semester and if we could do it all by ourselves.  When we heard that another group was forming a party, we didn’t really linger on those thoughts much longer.  We eventually became the highest ranking officials in our org.  (I.C. is the President and I am the IVP).

Back to reality… We are busy as hell but so far so good.  Being busy made me think though.  What made me love this org that I was so hesitant to join in the first place?  This org that makes me so busy and, at times, makes me cry.  I realized that it’s because of the people that are part of it.   From Sir Panelo (and also sir Jess), to Kuya C and Ate Joys, to Kuya Joecabs and the group, and finally to Kelvin and the crew (yes, even you Tit) especially Ate Karen who believed in her “mga alaga”.  You made it all worthwhile.  You brought JPAMA and yourselves closer to my heart.  MWAH :*

Now, I want to do the same to this batch of officers and members.  Hopefully, this journey will be worthwhile for you too. God bless.:)
