Theology Practicum ALMOST Done..
In my theology class, we had a mini practicum. We were given three choices - actively participate in 5 Simbang Gabi’s, in a play by the church, or in a church-sponsored activity. A few of my classmates and I decided to participate in an activity sponsored by the San Pablo Church.
On December 22, we were there to help the San Pablo community distribute the goods that they have prepared. Students from different divisions were there to help too. All the boys were to carry around the pails which contained 5 kilos of rice and some other food (it was really heavy!), while the girls were to push it around and put the packed clothes on top of it.

Later that night, there was a Christmas Party. I wasn’t too excited about that but since I had already said I would go, I did. Before the party started, my classmates put their food on the table. But when the party was about to start, my classmates decided not to stay too long and wanted to eat somewhere else. They wanted to get the food back but everyone was hesitant to get it. Well, everyone except for Burt! He suddenly stood up and stayed beside the table for a good 30 seconds. We were laughing so hard that I didn’t even notice him get the food. Actually, nobody noticed him. Ang galing galing talaga! We stayed and played some games but when dinner was about to start, we asked permission from the organizer and left.
It was my first time to participate in something like that! I’m not a religious person, but I really want to help out in those kinds of events.
8 hours of practicum down, 2 more to go. Noooo! Help!
